Got the privilege of photographing my latest musical obsession last Friday, really stoked on the results.  Dissapointed, however, that they’ve visited SF a handful of times already and this was the first time shooting them.

Further @ The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium – 12/30/11

Hard to believe, but I’m pretty sure this was my first Dead experience.  #sadfact

As with most artists from their generation, a cut above.  Looking forward to the next.

First time seeing Ms. Jones (all time)  and record fifth time photographing THE JACKET.  Always a pleasure, never a chore.

Beirut at The Independent – San Francisco, CA – 10/2/11

Great show, great band.  Remember first seeing these guys at Coachella a few years back, one of those great but rare moments this jobs allows, when the wave of energy from the crowd crashes directly into an equal or greater wave coming from stage directly above you.  Been hooked ever since.
